Public Shakespeare Talks: Let’s Talk About Hamlet

In anticipation of this summer’s production of HAMLET in Central Park, we’ve invited artists from The Public Theater’s past and future to ask, why does this play matter? Why does its central role continue to attract artists to perform, interpret, adapt, interrogate, and transform it? How does the play ask us to re-examine the deepest questions of identity, love, responsibility, memory, imagination, and family.?
