Joseph Haydn's three violin concertos are worth discovering! The concerto in C major, composed in the early 1760s for the Italian violinist Luigi Tomasini, stands out. The celebrated virtuoso was concertmaster of the Esterházy court orchestra in Burgenland, which Haydn conducted.
