14th Wilhelmsbad Chamber Concert

A magical repertoire for this unusual line-up has so far remained almost undiscovered. It often comes to light in the spring during Lent, when Johann Sebastian Bach has arias for soprano accompanied by just a flute in his oratorios. In the 14th Wilhelmsbad Chamber Concert, however, purely French compositions are heard: with spotted pastel pictures before our eyes and twittering birds and a jubilant soprano in our ears, the program “La Flute Chant...
