Uncle Drosselmeyer has a very special Christmas present for Marie: a magnificent nutcracker, which she immediately takes to her heart. She stands by his side during the nightly battle against the Mouse King. In gratitude, the Nutcracker invites her to the kingdom of the Sugar Plum Fairy. We tell the fairy tale by ETA Hoffmann with music by Peter Tchaikovsky.
