Franz Reizenstein, born in 1911, trained under Hindemith and after his emigration in 1934 under Vaughan Williams, created a diverse body of work. He also became known through his collaboration with the musical humorist Gerard Hoffnung. Chaya Arbel also came from Nuremberg (her birth name was Gerda Schloss); her family fled to Palestine in 1936. A concert with moving rediscoveries.
