Ernst Jandl was an Austrian poet (1925-2000) who, with passion and curiosity, constantly struggled to overcome boundaries and seek new forms. In addition to his experimental poetry in the tradition of concrete poetry, he also wrote two plays from the mid-1970s onwards - "The Humanists" and "From Foreign Lands", which won the Mülheim Dramatists' Prize in 1980.
