In the third symphony concert we welcome our "Artist in Residence" Daniel Ottensamer (brother of conductor Andreas Ottensamer) for the first time. With Johannes Brahms' Second Symphony, the Braunschweig State Orchestra presents one of the pieces with which the Braunschweig State Theater resumed its performances in 1945. With its song-like melodies, this work exudes a happy atmosphere that finds its calming point at the end.
