Basil is an artist and Dorian Gray is his model. Lord Henry, the third in the studio, is a friend of the painter and of decadence. While one paints him, the other corrupts Dorian's pure soul with immoral, cynical speeches. In the same (unnoticed) magical moment in which a special portrait is created, soul and purity separate. One moves into the picture, the other remains with the model.
