The Seven Years' War is over. Minna von Barnhelm is searching for her fiancé, Major Tellheim, from whom she hasn't heard in weeks. He is penniless because a bill of exchange he received for an advance payment is not recognized as his property by a Berlin court. Now he is stuck in an inn and has to vacate his room to a more affluent noblewoman. The fact that this woman is Minna, of all people, doesn't ensure a quick happy ending. Tellheim's wounded sense of honor stands in the way of a new relationship. Minna, a self-confident and self-determined woman, tries to circumvent the major's stubbornness, but although they love each other and both believe their intentions are always good, they constantly run into each other. This is what makes the play so comically charming. The great Enlightenment thinker, Lessing, does not overlook how war defines and changes social positions.

I'm angry. I have been for months. We need courage, again and again. In its new play, the youth club is negotiating the I in the we. Who am I? Who are we? What unites us and what separates us? In our overwhelming, far too fast-paced world, self-discovery is almost impossible. Will others accept me as I am? Can I be me? And how individual am I really? The constant negotiation of individuality in interaction with the group was the starting point for the young people. Since the start of the season, their own texts and scenes have been created in weekly rehearsals, which are now being performed in the play "More me."
