In this concert, Matthias Schorn, our "Artist in Residence" with the BSOF, will be devoting himself to two works that are among the most charming pieces in the clarinet literature. Anyone who enjoys Mozart's famous Clarinet Concerto - which Schorn will also perform with us towards the end of the season - will love Rossini's Introduction, Theme and Variation for Clarinet and Orchestra. Rossini, who also shows his great talent for stirring melodies...
