With their program, Lin Chen and Kerstin Petersen take the audience into the diverse sound worlds of American, European and Asian composers. The focus is on two works that were recently composed for the duo Drums & Pipes: "aufstieg.entspannung" by Alyssa Aska - based on a spectral analysis of the gong - and "Mikoshi" by Rikako Watanabe, inspired by the traditional Japanese music that sounds during the processions of the summer Matsuri festivals. ...
