The child is forced into a youth protection program (DPJ) and, as best he can, tries to weave a life for himself through trauma, fear and the quest for love. Punctuated by the powerful testimonies of young adults who have recently left the DPJ placement system, Monstres takes the paths of fiction and takes us on a journey between nightmare and reality. A meeting where the grotesque and the dreamlike float, while the fourth wall falls.
