Respond: this is what teenagers will be invited to do by artist Elkahna Talbi and her alter ego Queen Ka, a stage figure who has been involved in performance poetry for over fifteen years. Fears and convictions make up her view of the world. Donkey Skin runs through the forest. What is she running away from? Who is she? In the middle of the darkness, a car wash lights up. It is the kingdom of her childhood. Her mother dies and, to escape her father's lustful gaze, Donkey Skin demands dresses that are unique in the world, as well as the sacrifice of her donkey, to which he resigns himself. She then flees to her Godmother, who subjects her to a series of trials and emancipatory rituals.
