Nora, 24, discovers a photo of her grandmother taken in Oran, Algeria, after an explosion that seriously injured her. Before the gaze of this woman she barely knows, the weight of years of silence and absent gestures falls upon her. If part of her history escapes her, how can she determine who she is?
