Early-music specialist Jeannette Sorrell leads works spanning Mozart’s lifetime: La finta semplice Overture, composed when he was 12 years old, and his Symphony No. 40, one of his most beloved mature masterpieces. Principal Clarinet Anthony McGill is soloist in a concerto by Mozart’s contemporary Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, and soprano Sonya Headlam sings arias by both composers.
