Violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja — “a player of rare expressive energy” (The New York Times) — is the soloist in Stravinsky’s concerto. Jakub Hrůša conducts the opening-night concert of the NY Phil’s Bravo! Vail residency, which also features a recently premiered work by Jessie Montgomery and Brahms’s First Symphony.
