In a concert exploring the stages of life, Santtu-Matias Rouvali conducts Julia Wolfe’s Fountain of Youth and Sibelius’s Fifth Symphony, commissioned to celebrate the Finnish master’s 50th birthday. Soprano Miah Persson ascends the Bravo! Vail stage to sing Richard Strauss’s Four Last Songs, the composer’s farewell to his life and artistic journey.
