From the celestial melodies of Kathrin Lorenzen's opera to the jazz-infused creations of Jonathan Jessen and Axel Lidgren, each performance highlighted the unique artistry and dedication of the students. Arrangement for Sextet and Nonet setting inspired by One For All and Duke Pearson's Nonet.

Bands like Duke Pearson's Nonet and more contemporary groups like the New York-based sextet One For All arouse my curiosity about how the arrangers manage to make their music sound so full and big. Through careful analysis, I have tried to understand the harmonic thinking of these arrangers and see patterns in how they write. The result is five of my own arrangements for sextet and nonet settings. Welcome!
