“An eminent ambassador of the Italian quartet culture” (Fono Forum) and an ensemble of international excellence, Quartetto di Cremona makes its PCMS debut with a beautiful program of 19th and early 20th century quartets. The tuneful colors and rhythmic animation of Wolf’s Italian Serenade and Ravel’s Quartet in F Major lead to the haunting, epic majesty of Beethoven’s Quartet in A Minor, Op. 132.
