The world-famous Georgian National Ballet "Sukhishvili" will perform in the US to share with you a remarkable date - its 80th anniversary! To mark this occasion, a series of performances, exhibitions and other events will take place around the world throughout the year, giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the heritage of "Sukhishvili" and pay tribute to the incredible dance company that has become the face of Georgia. Despite modern elements and new ideas, "Sukhishvili" performances are always based on traditional Georgian dance, with its inherent intricate movements, colorful costumes and powerful storytelling.

25th Anniversary Concert
The Los Angeles Youth Orchestra will continue our 25th Anniversary Season with a special Spring 2025 Anniversary Concert on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. Repertoire will include Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, the Three Cornered Hat Suite by Manuel de Falla, Wachet Auf (or Sleepers Awake) by Johann Sebastian Bach, Zigeunerweisen by Pablo de Sarasate, the Academic Festival Overture by Johannes Brahms, and a world premiere piece by LAYO's Artistic Director and Conductor, Russell Steinberg.
