As part of their Prestige & Patrimoine series, GSI Musique and Oziko present Ferland symphonique; a bold, vibrant tribute to the work of the Petit Roi, the unique Jean-Pierre Ferland. This epic musical journey will come to life thanks to the symphonic arrangements of Blair Thomson and will be performed by the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, under the baton of conductor Alain Trudel. Scenography and mise-en-scène elements will be announced shortly. In the image of the artist Ferland was, it will all be very poetic.

Since its founding in 1940, the OSM Competition has been a launchpad for some of Canada’s most brilliant soloists, including Bruce Liu, James Ehnes, and Karina Gauvin. This year, the 86th edition will spotlight vocalists. Join us for an extraordinary evening as the finalists delight the audience with a varied program showcasing their unique abilities. With the OSM accompanying and Jacques Lacombe conducting, these talented young artists will fill the hall with passion and energy. The unforgettable evening will culminate in the dramatic announcement of the Grand Prize winner!
