Our season finale features a new work by American composer Lori Laitman. Her beautiful piece Becoming a Redwood features tenor Chad Somers, singing the poetry of Dana Gioia. The marvelous woodwinds of LAS are front and center in Richard Strauss’ youthful Serenade in E-flat. We’ll send you home singing the tunes of Dvořák’s sunny and sumptuous Symphony No. 6.
