The star of the evening: the tuba, which will make the Brucknerhaus shake at this concert! As a pioneer of his instrument, Andreas Martin Hofmeir proves that the tuba also works very well as a solo instrument in the classical concert hall. The brass instrument shows itself to be surprisingly versatile when Hofmeir plays Duda's tuba concerto and lets Vivaldi's famous Winter be heard not from the violin, but from the low brass.
