Dramatic scenes play out in the dreams of the Spanish knight Don Quixote! The love between the beautiful innkeeper's daughter Kitri and the young barber Basilio is not under a good star: Kitri's father is against their union and wants to marry his daughter off to the rich Gamache. The lovers dance their hearts out before the story finally comes to an end - but will it be a happy one?
