If you came of age in the late 1970s and 1980s, the music of Foreigner and Journey was the soundtrack of your life. With ballads and anthems, songs like Foreigner’s “I Don’t Want to Live Without You,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” and “I Want to Know What Love Is,” and Journey’s “Who’s Crying Now,” “Open Arms,” and “Don’t Stop Believing,’” are etched into our collective memories. They also made the groups two of the most successful bands of their era.

The music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons is as popular today as it was more than 50 years ago. Shows like Jersey Boys have introduced this great music to new audiences and new generations. The Lyric Theatre will rock ‘n roll when the tribute group Let’s Hang On! brings the sound of The Four Seasons and other big names from the 1960s to its stage.
