Chamber Orchestra of New York’s special event performance features pianist Simone Dinnerstein in Mozart’s famous Piano Concerto 21 “Elvira Madigan” alongside John Williams’ E.T. Suite (from the film). Tchaikovsky’s festive Nutcracker Suite is also combined with the world premiere of Salvatore Di Vittorio’s Suite Verdiana – a free transcription on five of Giuseppe Verdi’s most favorite operas.
