The Operators formed in 2018 from members of Indianapolis ska/punk bands the Circle City Deacons, Harley Poe, Lockstep and Indien, later joined by lead vocalist Brittany Brumfield. The group delivers a mix of neo-traditional ska sounds with the energy of punk, marked by shifting tempos and rhythms and bright and tight horn arrangements.
