Highly recognized for her work as a transcriber, composer, visual artist, and poet, pianist Asiya Korepanova makes her Tippet Rise debut with a performance of Rachmaninov’s complete Etudes-tableaux. Of Korepanova’s performing, New York Classical Review stated, “One was reminded that pianists who compose are often going to delve more deeply into the music and with more interesting insights than others."
