The LSU Choral Studies area closes out our academic year with A Spring Festival of Choirs, a unique concert blending centuries of sacred musical tradition with vibrant contemporary expression. Featured works include Nathaniel Dett's groundbreaking Chariot Jubilee, a milestone work based on African American spirituals, and Dr. Robert Ray's Gospel Mass, a composition merging the energy of the Black Church with Catholic liturgy.
