The LSU Wind Ensemble opens the spring semester with Allusions, a concert exploring works inspired by people, places, and events. Highlights include the world premiere of Joseph Wilcox Jenkins’ Timpani Solo, Bits and Pieces, transcribed and performed by Dr. Brett Dietz, Professor of Percussion. The program concludes with Karel Husa’s monumental Music for Prague, 1968. Don’t miss this exceptional musical journey!
