With compositions for films such as Dune, Gladiator, and Interstellar, he created a musical universe that has long since transcended cinema. Twelve Oscar nominations, fifteen Golden Globe nominations, and 22 Grammy awards speak for themselves – but played live, his music unfolds a power all its own.
