Pepíček and Aninka need money to buy milk. Perhaps they can earn a few coins by singing at the market square? Yet they have no chance against the grim hurdy-gurdy man Brundibár. Then the siblings receive unexpected help from a dog, cat, sparrow and many, many neighbourhood children. Together, they are loud enough to drown out the sounds of Brundibár.
