Cello! with Maximilian Hornung

Cello extraordinaire and artist-in-residence Maximilian Hornung is performing as a soloist for the Chamber Music series at the opera house, where he will present two cello concertos. After the technically demanding, classic C Major Concerto by Haydn, he will perform an exciting new work by Georgian composer Vaja Azarashvili. The latter is particularly close to Hornung’s heart. The popular octet by Mendelssohn will serve as the energetic finale.
