Welcome to a carnivalesque evening full of lively rhythms and magnificent orchestration! The concert begins with Dvořák's sparkling Carnival Overture , followed by two lively overtures by Johann Strauss. Solo violinist Hanan Santos brings Paganini's virtuoso Carnival of Venice to a brilliant climax. The concert continues with Berlioz's fiery Roman Carnival Overture , which captures the festive atmosphere of Rome.
