The wind quintet Vienta combines Viennese sound culture with melodies from around the world. The young ensemble celebrates its debut as part of the lunchtime concerts – with a musical journey from Hungarian dances to rhythms from America. Vienta combines rarely performed works with classics of the repertoire. Thus, Ligeti's Bagatelles sits alongside klezmer and jazz – each piece carefully chosen to tell its own story.
