Judith Cohen, Canadian ethnomusicologist and singer, combines scholarship with her years of travel and fieldwork and her roots in the 1960s folk revival. Known internationally for her work with Sephardic songs, she will give an introduction to their history and traditional genres around the Mediterranean, with short samples of documentary recordings and her own live singing.
