On the occasion of the eight-hundredth anniversary of Italy's patron saint, Francis of Assisi, we are pleased to present a performance celebrating the various aspects and stories associated with this extraordinary saint. The performance is presented by one of Italy's most acclaimed musicians, Angelo Branduardi, whose music will accompany the narration of one of Italy's finest journalists, Aldo Cazzullo. This performance will be a unique opportunity to delve deeper into and understand the importance of Francis of Assisi to our nation's identity.

On the centenary of her birth, Lucilla Giagnoni dedicates a performance to the divine Maria Callas. Drawing inspiration from Bellini's cavatina "Casta Diva" from Norma—an invocation and prayer to the moon, made famous by the Greek artist's performance—Giagnoni connects the myth of Callas with that of Medea, exploring their power as immortal queens, masters of the art of healing, but also the ruinous and destructive traits they share.
