Liszt Academy Symposium: Liszt's Instrumentarium

Liszt's orchestra shimmers in all its timbres. Therefore, it can be highly interesting to single out some of the instruments Liszt used from the collective and present them in detail: Klaus Aringer, a profound expert on 19th-century orchestras, will present the brass instruments trumpet, horn, and tuba. The presentation will be complemented by a small exhibition of historical instruments from the Hermann Ebner Collection.
