The Ford

Main Character Energy is a movie night that refuses to stay quiet. Talkback is not only encouraged, it is invited. For one night only, ARRAY transforms The Ford into a cinematic storytelling experience curated and hosted by writer and director Ava DuVernay. Clips from iconic films that honor our shared humanity are paired with vibrant voices from today’s most captivating thought leaders, artists, actors, and filmmakers. Throughout the night, you will not just watch… you will respond, and at times, you will even step into the scene. On this night, you are not a viewer. You are the main character.

From Dusk Till Dawn

The Rocky Horror Picture Show Feat. Sins O’ The Flesh

Rachael Price (vocalist for Lake Street Dive) and Vilray Bolles (Brooklyn-based guitarist and songwriter) conjure 1930s and ’40s swing as Rachael & Vilray. The jazz duo weaves enchanting spells with timeless songs of passion and whimsy that evoke the era of Fats Waller, Peggy Lee, and Johnny Mercer with a wink of modern wit. “She can sing anything; he can play anything … Tin Pan Alley meets the Lower East Side in a smoky bar, in songs with a twist of humor” (NPR). Following their 2019 self-titled album, 2022’s release I Love a Love Song! garnered widespread acclaim and gigs at legendary venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, Cafe Carlyle, and The Troubador. Friends for more than two decades, Rachael & Vilray make their debut at The Ford for an evening of storytelling and romance.
