United by exceptional orchestral mastery, two creative minds converse across eras and styles: the romantic ardor of Louise Farrenc meets the timeless splendor of Mozart to better captivate you. Forgotten for too long, the composer deploys in her Third Symphony, created in 1847, a fiery energy coupled with remarkable melodic inventiveness. As for Mozart, his monumental "Jupiter" Symphony represents his final and masterful contribution to the symphonic genre. His final fugue presents us with themes of unparalleled purity and embodies the apogee of classical balance. Let yourself be carried away by the power of the strings, the richness of the brass and the vivacity of the woodwinds of your Orchestra, in this concert where each note tells a story.

Founded in 1945, the association has transformed millions of lives thanks to the commitment of its volunteers and donors. To celebrate this anniversary, the Montpellier University Orchestra and soprano Barbara Derathé will offer a unique musical moment, joined by the Copain du Monde children's choir. Honored guests and an exhibition retracing eight decades of commitment will complete this event. The public will also be able to participate in an art raffle and attend a live painting performance by artist Bella Bah. An event dedicated to sharing.
