More details
The cello, long confined to the bass, rises to imitate the violin and reveal all its virtuosity. Exploring previously unpublished works by composers such as Giulio Ruvo, Giorgio Antoniotto, and Vivaldi, this concert tells the fascinating story of the instrument and its popular origins, sometimes meditative, sometimes exuberant. An invitation to discover an instrument in full emancipation.
