When a composer and an orchestra work closely together over several years, a unique musical symbiosis arises. Lil Lacy is the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra's resident artist from 2024-2027, and her musical collaboration with the orchestra contains a depth that can only arise through mutual inspiration and time for reflection.

When the sun sets on a bright June evening and the flames of the bonfire dance in the wind, the air is filled with notes that have always brought generations together. Our traditional and always atmospheric St. Hans concert is of course on the program again, and this year it is the beloved midsummer songs from the high school songbook that evoke memories of community when our chairman of the board, Simon Faber, sits down at the piano.

From the deafening anthems that echo through the stands, to the great classical symphonies that enrich us. It is the sound of anticipation, jubilation and triumph. Tonight we bring the stadium atmosphere right into the concert hall.
