Apollo’s Fire visits the palace of Louis XIV – the Sun King, who was known to dress as our muse Apollo. The gorgeous music of Lully, Marais, and Rameau shows the orchestra at its finest. Flutes, oboes, and theorbos join the strings in the sumptuous program full of the majesty of 17th-century France.
