True to tradition, the Copenhagen Bach Choir and Orchestra will perform JS Bach's Christmas Oratorio, which is an impressive musical version of the Christmas Gospel and is one of Bach's greatest works consisting of an alternation between recitatives, beautiful arias and beautiful choral movements. The work consists of a total of 6 cantatas - one for each of the 6 days of Christmas, and in this year's concert cantatas 1, 2 and 3 will be performed, which deal with the story of the birth of the baby Jesus, the shepherds in the field and all the well-known scenes from the Christmas Gospel.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary, the Copenhagen Bach Choir will hold a concert entitled "War and Peace" with works by Mauersberger,Palestrina (500 years since his birth), Heinrich Schütz, Arvo Pärt and Kim André Arnesen.
