Icelandic music does not appear very often on concert programs. However, in recent years, more and more contemporary Icelandic composers have begun to be performed around the world. Maria Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir is one of them. This is the first time her music has been performed by the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra.
