Spring has inspired many composers to write music. Perhaps it is precisely the awakening of nature that inspires creativity. Here we get to know two quite different spring feelings. Debussy's Printemps is more of a description of a spring-like inner awakening, while Boulanger's D'un matin de printemps is more concrete, with joy and anticipation when we have left darkness and cold behind us.
