The audience had no doubt. In the fall of 2024, the West Jutland rock poet Johnny Madsen was honored in absentia with the Rock Academy's special honorary award at a memorable concert in Amager Bio. In Johnny's absence, his son Rasmus received the award, and on the same occasion played a few of the greatest hits together with, among others, guitarist Knud Møller, who has been Madsen's faithful companion for three decades.
