The Ohio State Chorale with Wind Symphony features the new edition (wind band and choir) of A Silence Haunts Me by Jake Runestad. The text of this piece describes the psychological angst that Beethoven must have felt knowing he was going deaf. Russel C. Mikkelson, Wind Symphony conductor; Robert J. Ward, Chorale conductor; Casey L. Cook, collaborative pianist; Shawn Davern and Paul Bissler, guest conductors.
