The LSU Symphonic Winds opens their Spring 2026 season presenting a concert titled “Sacred Spaces”. Opening with Morton Gould’s riveting American Salute, this concert showcases the tapestry of spaces and ideas held sacred to many. Repertoire includes Omar Thomas’ emotional Of Our New Day Begun and Viet Cuong’s introspective John and Jim. This concert concludes with Yasuhide Ito’s powerful Gloriosa – Symphonic Poem for Band.
