To close out the year, this program is a showcase of the exceptional students of the School of Music. George Gershwin's wonderfully colorful inspired work, American in Paris, will kick things off. Winners of the Dean's Concerto Competition will solo with the orchestra-highlighting both graduate and undergraduate talent. The evening closes with an orchestral showpiece for every instrument, Ravel's Bolero.
